Thainstone Taste Of Grampian Food Show
Taste of Grampian food festival takes place each June at the Thainstone Centre, near Inverurie and celebrates and highlights the culinary delights of the North
East of Scotland and Grampian. Visitors can get a taste of the many different dishes, food and drink available throughout Aberdeenshire.
Local suppliers are at the Taste of Grampian food festival and the whole family can try samples from over 100
different local producers. This includes shortbread, salmon, beef, ice-cream, fudge and whisky.
Entertainment At The Taste Of Grampian Food Festival
Children and adults can all enjoy this day out with many different activities, shows and displays throughout the
day. Taste of Grampian includes:

Taste of Grampian Recipe Book
Many of the recipes exhibited at The Taste of Grampian are included in the book Taste Of Grampian Savour The Experience Recipe Book which is available to but from The Press and Journal shop on Union Street, Aberdeen for £3.95.

2010 Taste of Grampian
The Taste of Grampian 2010 will take place on 5 June. The Taste of Grampian 2010 celebrity chefs include James Tanner and Silvena Rowe.
2009 Taste of Grampian
The 2009 Taste of Grampian festival took place over the weekend of the 6 and 7 June 09. Television and celebrity chefs in attendance included Jean Christophe Novelli and Phil Vickery

The 2008 Taste of Grampian Food Festival will be held on Saturday 7 June. Celebrity chefs include Simon Rimmer, Alan Coxon and Tony Tobin
The 2008 Taste of Grampian Food Festival is sponsored by McLeish Brothers, the New York style deli and convenience chain with shops in Aberdeen, Dundee, Inverurie, Glenrothes,
Edinburgh and Broughty Ferry.

The day's events will be compered by Food Archaeologist, Head Chef and Restaurateur Alan Coxon.

2006 Taste of Grampian Festival
Television chefs who were at the 2006 event included:

- Phil Vickery (from Ready Steady Cook)
- The Two Fat Laddies
The day's events were compered by Food Archaeologist, Head Chef and Restaurateur Alan Coxon. Alan was a former
executive chef at Baxters in Fochabers so understands the importance of fresh locally produced healthy food in Grampian.
The 2006 Taste of Grampian one day food and drink festival was held on Saturday 10th June 2006 at the Thainstone Centre.
Admission to the event was free.
Parking was charged at £3.
