Rootin Aboot
Rootin Aboot (Rooting About) is an annual music festival held at The Lemon Tree in Aberdeen.
It is a celebration of traditional Scottish music and combines acoustic music and world music such as
African, Indian, jazz, blues, bluegrass, rock, dance, alternative country and Latin American.
The 2006 Rootin Aboot musical festival is a six day event from Monday 10 April until Saturday 15 April.
Events include free lunchtime gigs, workshops, children's events and shows, sessions and concerts.
The free concerts are sponsored by Belhaven
The 2006 Rootin Aboot is the 13th event.
