In May 2007 a 68 year old granny and former nurse who wished to remain anonymous won the large bingo prize of £50,000 at the Riva Bingo Hall at Aberdeen Beach Boulevard, Queens Links Leisure Park. She won the large bingo prize playing the National Bingo Game and also won the Aberdeen club prize of £100 when she completed a full house of 45 numbers on her bingo card. This was the lowest call in all the 500 bingo clubs that were playing nationwide. She plans to enjoy the bingo prize money with her partner, two sons and five grandchildren.
