Colquhonnie Castle and Colquhonnie Hotel Ghosts

    The Phantom Piper

Colquhonnie Castle is a ruinous remains of a 16th Century L-Plan Tower of the Forbes of Towie.

The Castle was never fully completed because the three Lairds were all killed during the building work.

One of these Forbes Lairds fell from the Castle in the 1600s and haunts the nearby Colquhonnie Hotel. He is known as The Phantom Piper.
