    Nicola Jolly


    Biography of Miss Scotland and Miss UK Winner Nicola Jolly who is a presenter on Sky Vegas Live


    Beauty Queen and Model Nicola Jolly comes from Inverbervie, Aberdeenshire. She was educated at Robert Gordon University and graduated with an Honours Degree in Business Studies.


    Nicola Jolly won Miss Scotland in 2003. She represented Scotland in the Miss World contest in Sanya, China. Though she did not win this she did win Miss UK.


    Since then Nicola appeared as a model for many commercial and charity events throughout the North East of Scotland and had a regular column in the local newspaper. She also worked as an event and after dinner speaker. These led to television work.








    TV Appearances of Nicola Jolly


    Winning Miss UK led to television work for Nicola Jolly and some of her TV appearances have included episodes of Simply The Best on ITV, Celebrity Fear Factor on Sky 1, Colin and Justin's Interior Design Disasters on Channel 5, You Have To Do This for Scottish Television and before it became the Scottish Television (STV) channel Nicola made a local TV programme for Grampian TV called Swimming With Sharks. Nicola has also made TV commercials and adverts.

    Nicola Jolly is now a presenter for Sky Vegas Live. Fellow presenters include Ashley Mulheron and Cat McQueen.

    Cornerstone Community Care Charity

    Nicola Jolly supports the Cornerstone Community Care charity and regularly returns to Aberdeenshire to appear at their dinners. For example Nicola Jolly appeared at the Cornerstone Community Care charity dinner and auction on Thursday 24 April 2008 at the Marcliffe at Pitfodels Hotel. A handcrafted necklace which was designed by Alan Fulton was auctioned along with a spa break at St Andrew’s Old Course and a day cookery course with Scottish chef Nick Nairn. Entertainers at the Cornerstone Community Care charity dinner included former prison governor Robbie Glen and after dinner speaker John Htet Khin. The evening event was sponsored by BP and Technip UK Ltd.


    Granite City Rally 2007

    Nicola Jolly will return to Aberdeenshire to take part in the Granite City Rally where she will represent and raise funds for the Aberdeen learning disabilities charity Cornerstone Community Care. The Granite City Rally starts from the Duthie Park on the 28 April 2007 and takes the drivers through a route in Aberdeen City, Aberdeenshire and the Kincardineshire Forests. Though Nicola loves her extreme sports she will be in the co-driver navigator seat, read the notes for the forest stages. The driver will be Tracey Louise Muir from Mintlaw, Aberdeenshire who works for Cornerstone and takes part in driving championships in her spare time. They will be driving in a new Peugeot 106.


    Evening Express Columnist

    In-between modelling and charity work Nicola Jolly used to be a regular Evening Express columnist for the local Aberdeenshire EE newspaper. Her weekly column appeared on a Saturday until 2006.



    David Guest

    On Friday 10 August 2007 Nicola Jolly was the guest in the audience of the celebrity guest host David Guest of The Friday Night Project with Alan Carr and Justine Lee Collins. They met on a night out and became friends. The camera pointed to Nicola Jolly when David Guest talked about Nicola.
