Natalia Gomes
Biography
Actress Natalia Gomes was born in Ellon, Aberdeenshire on the 1st September 1984. Her parents are Sheila and Danny, an
electronic engineer.
She started acting in local productions when she was aged 13 years old. Whilst at secondary school at Ellon Academy
she took part in a part-time acting, dance and music course.
After leaving school she completed a Diploma programme in Acting for Film and Television at The New York Film
Academy, New York City. Then Natalia studied film and media at Stirling University, Scotland.
In 2005 she worked on the film The Jacket which starred Jennifer Jason Leigh, Daniel Craig, Kris Kristofferson
and Keira Knightley. Natalia's role was to have been an extra for scenes to be shot in Glasgow, but she became the stand in for Jennifer Jason Leigh
whose character was Doctor Lorenson. Natalia walked through the parts played by Jennifer Jason Leigh so that the
set crew could adapt the lights and props for the actress.
Natalia Gomes is currently studying at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute in New York, USA.
