    Biography

    Mike Mitchell Mike Mitchell was born in Aberdeen on 21 August 1955. He was a member of Her Majesty's Special Forces as a Combat Frogman Bomb and Mine Disposal Specialist.


    Bodybuilding Career Of Mike Mitchell


    Though always interested in sport and fitness, Mike didn't start competing in bodybuilding competitions until he was 37. Since then he has won many awards. These include:


    • Overall WFF (World Fitness Federation) Mr Universe and World Champion 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006

    • Mr Scotland - 3 times

    • WFF Weltmeister 2002 and 2003

    • WFF Mr Fitness Universum 2003

    • WFF Vize-Mr Universum 2004

    • Runner up Mr World 2001

    • WFF Over 50s Title 2006








      Acting And Modelling Career Of Mike Mitchell


      Building on the success of his bodybuilding achievements and fine physique Mike has acted in many stage plays, television programmes and films and worked as a model. These include many appearances on Turkish TV from 2002.
      Theatre productions include a re-enactment of the film Gladiator.
      Films which Mike Mitchell has appeared in include Life on the Line (2003) in which he played the part of an FBI Agent and Unleached (2004). Mike filmed a Science Fiction Horror film where he played the lead role of Space Commander Captain J Morgan. The film was released in 2006 and called The Planet

      Actor Mike Mitchell returned to his native Aberdeen to work with local film producer Mark Stirton on his new film One Day Removals. Mike Mitchell played a police officer in this dark comedy film and more can be read about this film and Mike’s role on the One Day Removals page.


      Mike also works as an after dinner guest speaker and often attends functions here in Scotland.

      Whilst working at LykiaWorld Mike Mitchell met a writer of the UK soap Emmerdale on ITV. He joked that he would like to appear in an episode and the writer talked it over with the rest of the Emmerdale writing team and a part was specially written for Mike Mitchell in Emmerdale. His role in Emmerdale has been left open by the script writers so perhaps Mike Mitchell will be back on the television soon.
