Mark Wood Aberdeen Actor
Biography
Aberdonian actor Mark Wood started his acting career whilst still at acting school. His productions with the
Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama (RSAMD) from 2002 - 2005 included Twelfth Night (Sir Andrew), The Seagull
(Konstantin) and Aladdin (Widow Twanky).
Mark was brought up in Torry.
Acting Career Of Mark Wood
He soon moved to theatre work with production companies such as the Oxford Stage Company and Traverse Theatre. He appeared
in productions of Men Should Weep (Alec), One Day All This Will Come To Nothing (Adam) and Kings O'The Midden.
Mark's first TV appearance was in Taggart for SMG Television Productions. He played Matheson.
Mark Wood has starred in three of fellow Aberdonian Lee Hutcheon's films which were In A Mans World (Rasputin),
Disturbed Silence (Arthur Jackson) and Vendetta (John). Mark has also had roles in other films which include
Merry Christmas and Hindsight (David).
