    Julia Stewart Model Aberdeen


    Information and photographs of Julia Stewart the model from Aberdeen who has appeared in Zoo magazine and has been nominated for Miss Great Britain 2007:


    Model Julia Stewart

    Julia Stewart was born in 1987 in Aberdeen and was educated at Aberdeen Grammar School. At the age of seventeen Julia turned to modelling part time after posing for the Bon Accord camera club and being featured in a car magazine. On being photographed Julia says:


    "What I love most about it is seeing the pictures afterwards. You can have a laugh at the bad ones and use the good ones to promote yourself."












    UberGirl 2010 Modelling Competition

    During the summer and autumn of 2010 Julia Stewart used her experience of modelling to be the North East of Scotland regional coordinator and event organiser for the UberGirl 2010 modelling competition. Read more about this new event to Aberdeen on the Aberdeen Models page.


    Grid Girls

    In 2009 Julia Stewart became one of the grid girls on the team of British Superbikes in Knockhill. The photo below shows Julia happily at work:

    Julia Stewart Zoo Magazine


    Julia Stewart has undertaken many photo shoots for top magazines like Zoo magazine, national newspapers and calendars. Her appearance in the Zoo magazine for men lead to her nomination for Miss Great Britain 2007.

    Other magazines that Julia has appeared in include Maxpower, Fastcar and Redline.

    The car magazine Modified featured Julia and photos of her in a seven page article called Fast and Modified.

    Julia loves cars and not only does she feature regularly in car magazines, but she bought her dream car when she was 17. Julia says:

    "When I was a child I didn't have barbies - I had toy cars. My dad owns a well known car garage and despite being a real girlie girl, I am a bit of a tomboy when it comes to cars!"


    Reporting Grampian

    In 2008 Julia Stewart had her first acting role. This was in the Doric film One Day Removals by Aberdeen film maker Mark Stirton. Julia Stewart played the reporter for the programme Reporting Grampian that covers the story within the film. Read more on the One Day Removals page.

    Miss Great Britain 2007 Competition


    Julia Stewart Julia Stewart hopes to represent Aberdeen and Scotland in the Miss Great Britain 2007 Competition. The Scottish regional heats will take place in the Spring of 2007.

    The 2006 Miss Great Britain was originally won by Danielle Lloyd. She was stripped of the title in November 2006 over tabloid newspaper allegations of having a relationship with footballer Teddy Sheringham who was one of the judges and appearing in nude photos in magazines and the playboy website. She was succeeded by Preeti Desai.




    Julia competed in Miss Crail Fastcar and came third.

    Julia Stewart used to work full time at Hays Specialist Recruitment for the oil and gas industries in Aberdeen and she modelled part time in the evenings and weekends until her modelling career took off:

    "The spare cash is also a bonus. Its so good being able to get paid to do something you love so much, and flattering too."

    Interests of Julia Stewart include karate of which she is a black belt. Julia has blonde hair and her height is 5'2".

    Julia Stewart is pleased to do most types of modelling work and photography, but not at topless level.

    She is represented by Elegance Models in Manchester.

    Of the future Julia says:

    "My ambitions this year are to get quite a bit of exposure and attend lots of events and shows. I'd also love to get promoted at work, and go on holiday somewhere nice to take a break from my busy schedule!"



    The Evening Express newspaper ran a feature on the 27 February 2007 about the frocks and fashions of the 2007 Oscars. Julia Stewart modelled dresses and accessories similar to Hollywood stars who walked the Oscar red carpet like Penelope Cruz, Nicole Kidman, Victoria Beckham, Kate Winslet, Jennifer Hudson and Madonna whilst the paper described where to buy the fashion locally in shops like Coast, John Lewis, Phase Eight and Kaliko at Debenhams, and Marks and Spencer.
