Actor Harry Hill Biography
Harry Hill was born in 1941 in Aberdeen. He was educated in Aberdeen Grammar School and then undertook an
honours degree course in English at Aberdeen University. He got his first taste of acting at University when he appeared
in several student shows.
Harry Hill worked as a Lecturer and Associate Professor in English in Canada in between acting jobs. He retired from
academic life in 1999.

Harry Hill Appeared in over 30 films and television programmes which included:
Lord Hareford in The Royal Scandal (2001)
McTavish in Shadow of the Wolf (1992)
Dr. Baumann in Scanners 3: The Takeover (1992)
Ford Butler in Ford: The Man and the Machine (1987)
Stasiuk in Rabid (1977)
Mr Fish in Barnum (1986)
He also worked in the theatre.
Books Of Harry Hill
His book, A Voice For The Theatre, was published in 1986. British drama schools still use it as a training manual
for their students.
Harry Hill died in 2005 in Montreal.
