2008 Granite City Rally
Information about the 2008 Granite City Rally:
The 2008 Granite City Rally will for the first time go through Torry. In December 2007 the Aberdeen City Council was granted a provisional order by Des Browne, the Scottish Secretary of State, which authorises the Council to close some public roads for the 2008 Granite City Rally and abolish speed limits on the roads used during the Championship rally. The two wheel drive cars will be the first to set off in the Station Road Garage Mitsubishi Granite City Rally at 9am from the Altens Thistle Hotel. The first
driver in the 2008 Granite City Rally to set off will be Bruce McCombie from Banchory who will be driving a Ford Puma.
