    Easter Egg Rolling Fun Day Duthie Park Aberdeen


    Each year local celebrities join in the family fun and celebration of Easter at the Duthie Park, along with their eggs freshly delivered by the Easter Bunny!


    2007 Easter Egg Event Duthie Park


    The Easter Egg Event at the Aberdeen Duthie Park takes place on Sunday April 8 2007. A Northsound Radio presenter will host the event which starts at 2pm. The Easter Extravaganza is organised by the Friends of the Duthie Park, the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) and Aberdeen City Council.







    Entertainment is for all ages and includes
    • Best Dressed and Decorated Egg Competition
    • Mascot Race
    • Children's Roundabout
    • Egg Rolling Races
    • Egg and Spoon Race
    • Eastre Bonnet Parade
    • Inflatables
    • Games
    • Stalls
    • Food Stalls And Catering


    Best Dressed Egg Competition


    Those taking part in the best dressed egg competition during the Easter Festival are asked to bring an egg cup or presentation stand so that their egg can sit safely and be viewed at all angles by the judging panel. The judges will be looking to award prizes to decorated and painted eggs which are colourful, show imagination and attention to detail.
    One of the judges will be Aberdeen City Council Lord Provost John Reynolds.
    Eggs are not provided for this event and you may wish to decorate your egg prior to the event.
    Categories for this competition are: under 5s, 5-8, 8-12 and those aged 12-16 years.


    Easter Egg Rolling


    Cadbury Trebor Bassett are donating the chocolate eggs for the rolling event. It starts at 2pm and will finish at 4:30pm.

    The events and competitions have prizes for all ages from toddlers, children, teenagers, mums, dads and grandparents.

    The 2006 Easter Egg Event at the Duthie Park took place on Sunday April 16 2006. Northsound Radio presenter Cammy Campbell hosted the event which started at 1pm. Cadbury Trebor Bassett donated the chocolate eggs for the rolling event.
