Congo Indoor Adventure Golf Aberdeen
Review and information about the indoor adventure golf centre The Congo in Codonas Aberdeen Beach
In March 2008 The Congo Indoor Adventure Golf Aberdeen opened within the Codonas complex at the beach. The Congo indoor golf and bar diner opened on Easter weekend on the Good Friday.
Entry for Aberdeen Race For Life is now open.
No matter what the weather golfers young and old and of any experience can have some fun playing The Congo indoor golf course. It is themed with jungle visual and sound effects and takes the golfer around large jungle trees, tikki tree huts, jungle tree houses, jungle plants and flowers, cascading waterfalls, rock pools, tropical palm trees, huge Aztec stone warriors and even an erupting volcano.
Once players have enjoyed the 18 holed indoor golf course they can try their luck at the 19th. This is traditionally the bar for seasoned golfers but at Codonas this is a special hole where if a golfer bags a hole in one they get a free game at the outdoor Pirate Island golf course.
The £1 million Congo development is set within 10,000 square feet on the former Miami Beach area and compliments the outdoor Pirate Island crazy golf miniature course that opened at Codonas Sunset Boulevard at Aberdeen Fun Beach in March 2007.
There is disabled access to The Congo.
Congo Bar Diner
The Congo indoor adventure golf Aberdeen centre is centred around the Congo Bar Diner mezzanine level where diners can enjoy a wide selection of meals, snacks and drinks whilst watching players of the golf game. The speciality of the Congo Bar Diner is their large and tasty homemade burgers. The Congo Bar Diner also serves pizza and fajitas. Children meals start at £3.95. Do look out for the themed cocktails at The Congo bar such as Muddy Puddle, and Pussy Foot.
