My new novel:

The Fence Aberdeen Zombie post apocalyptic military survival Novel Book

The Aberdeen skies are under attack from an enemy jet. It is spilling a strange yellow smoke. Minutes later, people start killing each other.
Former Royal Air Force Regiment Gunner Jason Harper witnesses this and then his wife, Pippa, telephones him, shouting that she needs him. They then get cut off. He sets straight out, unprepared for the nightmare that unfolds during his journey. Everyone seems to want to kill him.
Along the way, he pairs up with fellow survivor Imogen. But she enjoys killing the living dead far too much. Will she kill Jason in her blood thirst? Or will she hinder his journey through this zombie filled dystopian landscape to find his pregnant wife?
The Fence is the first in this series of post-apocalyptic military survival thrillers from the torturous mind of local horror and science fiction novel writer C.G. Buswell.

The website also offers the facility to browse by price range, popularity and by brand. So comparing prices and getting the best deal should please many an Aberdonian! One feature of the website I like to use is the refine your search as I compare various prices. I used this recently to buy a digital camera and saved about £40 compared to other local and internet shops.

Another useful section is the Comet Clearance Auctions where returned but usable and ex shop model items are for sale at greatly reduced prices. Some may have a mark or a dent but are perfectly workable and still have a years guarantee. Savings running from tens to hundreds of pounds can be made if you don't mind a wee mark on a bargain priced camcorder, dishwasher, vacuum cleaner, plasma screen TV and many more electrical items.

Comet Electrical Store Aberdeen

Comet Electrical Store Aberdeen can be found between Pagazzi and MFI and the Beach Boulevard Shopping Centre.

There are some doors to negotiate to get in and out of the store which includes a security area which should not prove difficult for wheelchair users on their own because the doors are automatic and wide. There are instore use wheelchairs located on the right of the second interior automatic door. Once in the store there is plenty of room to move around the aisles. Comet Aberdeen is all on the ground floor and is broken into section of computers and laptops with accessories, audio, visual, home entertainment, kitchen electrical appliances and washing and drier machines.

There are no customer toilets at Comets Aberdeen, but there are some by the cafeteria at Asda which is in the same shopping complex.

The beach seafront is a short walk away or turn right out of the Comet Aberdeen car park and take the first left to get to another closer free car park.

Electrical items come with a year guarantee with the option to upgrade to a five year guarantee either in the Comet Aberdeen shop or the online store. Dyson cleaners automatically come with a five year guarantee.

Aberdeen Lynne Golden Retriever

Have you seen my beautiful golden retriever Lynne out and about in Aberdeen? Ask her for a high-five! She's a Bravehound PTSD assistance dog, so we'll often be in shops, restaurants, and the cinema together.

We've written a book where I talk about growing up in Aberdeen and then joining the army to be a medic and nurse, and developing military Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.

I also talk about losing my son to suicide and the therapy I have had at Royal Cornhill Hospital and grief support groups in Aberdeen.

The author, Damien Lewis, said of Lynne:

"A powerful account of what one dog means to one man on his road to recovery. Both heart-warming and life-affirming. Bravo Chris and Lynne. Bravo Bravehound."
