Glenbuchat
From the 16 to 24 August 2008 there will be a photographic exhibition portraying life in Glenbuchat from 11am until 5pm. This is a free event at the Glenbuchat Village
Hall, Glenbuchat, Strathdon, Aberdeenshire AB36 8TS. The free photo exhibition is called In the Buchat and portrays life in the Glen. The exhibition will link the glen’s rich recorded history with a contemporary collection of photographs taken by the community. As well as photographs and a slideshow there will recorded aural history by past and present residents. Local schoolchildren will also be creating collages for the exhibition from their own photographs.
