Aberdeen hosts many annual festivals which attracts people from Aberdeenshire, Grampian and the North East of Scotland.
Some of the festivals attract worldwide audiences, such as the Word Festivals and the Hogmanay Fireball Festival held in
Stonehaven each New Year. Scottish week is still proudly held in Peterhead - the only town in Scotland to still hold
this festival dedicated to the food, drink, crafts and produce of Scotland.
There are many musical festivals held throughout the year across Aberdeenshire. Some are held in historic buildings
such as Duff House and combine beauty with first class music.
Maw Broon fae the Sunday Post has published a cookbook full of her favourite Scottish and family recipes.
