    Aberdeen Festivals

Aberdeen hosts many annual festivals which attracts people from Aberdeenshire, Grampian and the North East of Scotland. Some of the festivals attract worldwide audiences, such as the Word Festivals and the Hogmanay Fireball Festival held in Stonehaven each New Year. Scottish week is still proudly held in Peterhead - the only town in Scotland to still hold this festival dedicated to the food, drink, crafts and produce of Scotland.

There are many musical festivals held throughout the year across Aberdeenshire. Some are held in historic buildings such as Duff House and combine beauty with first class music.

Entry for Aberdeen Race For Life is now open.

New to the Aberdeen festivals page is the Northern Lights Music Festival which is held at Seaton Park. This annual Aberdeen festival has over 50 musical acts and the first concert features acts such as Madness and Paloma Faith. For more information visit the AboutAberdeen Seaton Park Concert Aberdeen Northern Lights Music Festival page.

The Granite Festival was created in May 2011 to celebrate the craftsmanship of Aberdeen’s local stone, the quarries and the fantastic buildings we have throughout the city. Events in this Aberdeen festival include free talks, walks and concerts.
